Jesus is a Messenger from God
The Qur’an declares that Jesus is merely a messenger sent by his Lord:
“[The Day] when Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, “This is not but obvious magic.” “. (5/110)
“And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, “Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus.” They said, “We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah].” “(5/111)
“And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, “O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad.” But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, “This is obvious magic.”. “(6/61)
“And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?’” He will say, “Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. “(5 / 116-117)
The Qur’an clarifies the relationship between the three hypostasises: God is the Lord, Jesus is the Prophet and the Holy Spirit was an angel in support of Jesus the Apostle in his message:
“And We did certainly give Moses the Torah and followed up after him with messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Pure Spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, [O Children of Israel], with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of messengers] you denied and another party you killed. (2/87).
“Those messengers – some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allah spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the Son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Pure Spirit. If Allah had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if Allah had willed, they would not have fought each other, but Allah does what He intends.” (2/253)
The fact that Jesus is a word from God does not mean that he is a part of him, but, rather, means that he was a creature, like other creatures, created by His word, which is “Be”. God specifies the Word of Jesus by mention to show his virtue and to refute the claims of those viewing his as a god.
“[And mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary – distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah].” (3/45)
“Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, “Be,” and he was..” (3/59)
The Trinitarian Doctrine Deprives the Lord of Many Qualities Granted to Human Beings.
It is sufficient to prove the invalidity of this Trinitarian doctrine that it deprives the Lord of many qualities granted to human beings. A man, has an entity, speaks by his tongue, lives by his spirit, hears by his ears and sees with eyes, while God, according to contemporary Christianity, is not an entity in Himself except when called the Father. And in his capacity as a son he renounces his entity to be only speaking with his word represented in his so-called son and becomes his word. if God renounces these two attributes he is called the Spirit and becomes alive by his spirit. Would it be possible to accept that humans retain many qualities of life while God is deprived of the least of them to prove His existence?!
The Holy Qur’an came with reasonable evidence of the invalidity of attributing partners to God Almighty:
“Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent.” (112/4)
,Had there been within the heavens and earth gods besides Allah, they both would have been ruined. So exalted is Allah, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.”(21/22)
Trinity in the Bible
As we surf the Bible, we find no explicit statement to support this doctrine. However, throughout corrupt interpretation and playing with the scripture such a deviant doctrine appeared. When asked about texts that support this doctrine in the Bible, Christians only provide texts that show how the Father (the First hypostasis, the Creator God, sent His Son through (the third hypostasis the Holy Spirit, to mankind to save and redeem them. The Bible does not include texts supporting trinity, but they inserted the texts which were, apparently, telling about Jesus’ son-ship and Lordship to prove this doctrine, including:
“As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him..”(Mathew, 3: 16-17)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28: 19)
When confronted with such blatant evidence, the Church resorts to false excuses and corrupt interpretations to justify the trinity belief and claimed that it was understood wrongly.
What does the appearance of Christ or the Holy Spirit have to do with their being a part of God?! how can the parts of God separate from each other– a man on earth, and Lord in the heavens, and a holy spirit between heaven and earth?!
If a king sends one of his followers or a messenger to people to inform them of his arrival or appearance, would the messenger become a part of that king?! Surely, he would remain a part of his subjects retaining his position, whatever the prestige or the message he had?!
Trinity Doctrine is blasphemous
Such a Trinitarian doctrine with such a deviant understanding is blasphemous and attributes humiliation and deficiency to God as Christians claim that: “God reveals Himself only through His relationship with man, and this relationship has appeared to us in the form of trinity-relationship.” Is God in need of such trinity-relationship to show Himself?! Or would the sending of messengers be sufficient to achieve the purpose of the mission of informing the existence of God? One may assert that God the Almighty can definitely show himself in the universe through his signs in creation and can appear to His creatures as well.
A quick look at such deviant-church interpretations of such a doctrine would prove it to be a mere philosophical heresies which cannot reflect a factual or a right philosophical thought. It is quite clear that Christianity, while adopting such doctrines, has been influenced by was influenced by the Hellenistic and Greek philosophies at the hands of St. Paul the Apostle and by St. Peter Constantine, who tried to follow the non-Trinitarian doctrine of Aires but could not do so. However, the Ecumenical Council of Nicaea approved this doctrine for historical circumstances.
