“It is of no benefit to join hands without hearts”.
In some poetry there is wisdom, and some is sorcery
Yes, in many lines of poetic verses and poetry quotes
there’re many wonderful words of wisdom and deep meanings that one cannot help but learn them by heart,
quote from them sometimes, learn from them and put them into practice
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “In some poetry there is wisdom.”
The Prophet said to Hassan ibn Thabit, “Satirize against them and Ruhul Qudus would continue to help you.”
Says the verse that I learn by heart and hope you’ll also do: “It is of no benefit to join hands without hearts”
Again, “It is of no benefit to join hands without hearts”
Meaning the important thing is not to bring bodies closer
But the most important is that we bring hearts closer
Allah (Exalted be he) says about the Jews, “You think they were united,” (Al-Hashr 59:14) as they stand beside each other, “but their hearts are divided.” (Al-Hashr 59:14)
And the Prophet (peace be upon him) was eager,
especially at time of prayer, that Muslims stand feet to feet that their hearts accordingly get closer
And for this he said: “Stand in straight rows and do not differ among yourselves, or else your hearts will differ due to disaccord.”
There should be no problem if we are in different place or of different nationalities
The most important thing is that our hearts be united
What did the Prophet (peace be upon him) say? What are believers like?
Those who live in the Arabian Peninsula, in Syria, in the Philippines, in Morocco are just like one body
“The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.”
When I hear about a Muslim brother who is a pious believer, hard worker with a pure sound heart, I love him yet I Haven’t met him
Indeed, this is how the Muslims need to be
their hearts should be united as one
be shoulder to shoulder, it is reflected in reality
It is of no benefit to join hands without hearts
Therefore, it is not the number of meetings and conferences of Arab and Muslim countries that is important, but rather their united hearts
Their hearts joined together
Our enemy understands sometimes that the meetings of Muslims are merely physical gatherings
And not heart gatherings
That’s why they, the enemies, were able to disunite our community
With the divide and control approach
Together we need to unite as one hearts
And nothing could ever unite the hearts and minds of Muslims except the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
So, this is a call to bring the hearts, minds, spirits, and souls closer together
And indeed “souls are troops collected together” as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said
“and those who familiarized with each would have affinity, with one another and those amongst them who opposed each other would also be divergent.”
And forget not “it is of no benefit to join hands without hearts”
