What is heart of the Qur'an?
Salam brother Fayis,
Thank you very much for your question. It is our pleasure to answer it. You are a very special guest to our service because you are the first one to send us a question.
Coming to your question, we highly appreciate your interest to know more about the Qur’an the Book which Muslims believe is the word of Allah the Almighty.
There are many authentic hadiths reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) about the virtues of and rewards of reading certain Chapters of the Qur’an.
There is a famous hadith about the heart of the Qur’an which is known as Surat Yasin. Some scholars rank this hadith as weak. Despite this fact, Surat Yasin is a great surah and it has interesting stories.
So keep on reading this Surah and other surahs of the Qur’an as there is a great for reading the Qur’an. The Prophet is reported to have said:
Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather I am saying that “Alif” is a letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter.” So increase your recitation of the Qur’an to gain these merits, and to gain the following merit as well. (At-Tirmidhi)
I hope this answers your question.
