“As for He Who Gives and Fears Allah”
There are so many reflective questions man should ask themselves
O man! Who are you?
You are Allah’s foremost creature
As you, eternally, dared to bear the trust
Undertook to bear it, Allah has subjected for you all that is in the heavens and earth
In their subjection are guidance and honor for man
The wisdom of guidance is for us to believe
And the wisdom of honoring is to be thankful
And if you believe and are grateful to Allah then you have achieved the goal of your existence
And then the divine chastisement will stop
Allah the Almighty said: “What would Allah do with your punishment if you are grateful and believe?” (An-Nisaa’ 4:147)
It is a guarantee from Allah
This is for the individual, as for the nation: “But Allah would not punish them while you, (O Muhammad), are among them” (Al-Anfal 8:33)
A nation lives according to the teachings of the Prophet is safe from the punishment of Allah
“But Allah would not punish them while you, O Muhammad), are among them” (Al-Anfal 8:33)
Dear brothers,
The point now is that human is the foremost creature
Here’s another considerable thing about that human
When Allah (Exalted be He) said: “By the night when it covers and [by] the day when it appears, and (by) He who created the male and female, Indeed, your efforts are diverse” (Al-Layl 92:1-4)
Seven billion two hundred million humans
Each one of them has a certain goal which they are striving for, but Allah, from His wisdom, integrated all these goals into two categories
The first: “As for he who gives and fears Allah, and believes in the best (reward)” (Al-Layl 92:5-6)
Believes that he has been created for Paradise
So, based on this belief, they refrain from evil and disobedience of Allah
Dedicating their life to giving
“As for he who gives and fears Allah, and believes in the best (reward)” (Al-Layl 92:5-6)
Those are the ones who are saved, those are the happy and safe in this life and the Hereafter
“As for he who gives and fears Allah, and believes in the best (reward)” (Al-Layl 92:5-6)
They believed in the best reward and, accordingly, feared Allah and refrained from disobedience
Feared Allah and refrained from disobedience, they, accordingly, dedicated their life to giving
That’s why at the top of humanity there are two groups of people:
Those with authority and might, and Prophets
Those with authority enslaved people, but Prophets enslaved hearts
Those with authority controlled people
And Prophets lived for people
Those with authority take and never give back
Prophets give, and desire for nothing in return
Those with authority are praised only while they are present
But prophets are praised while they are absent
All the people follow either someone with authority or a prophet
But true success is to be among the followers of Prophets
to dedicate your life for spending
“By the night when it covers and (by) the day when it appears, and [by] He who created the male and female, Indeed, your efforts are diverse” (Al-Layl 92:1-4)
The first group: “he who gives and fears Allah, and believes in the best reward” (Al-Layl 92:5-6)
The divine reward in this life before the Hereafter: “We will ease him toward ease” (Al-Layl 92:7)
A smooth life, a successful marriage
dutiful and kind children, good reputation
consecutive successes, etc.,
When Allah gives, His grace will indeed amaze you
The other group: “But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need, and denies the best (reward)” (Al-Layl 92:8-9)
They denied the best reward (Paradise) and, accordingly, believed in this life that they feel no need of Allah instead of obedience to Him, and therefore dedicating their life to only take and never give back
“he who gives and fears Allah, and believes in the best reward” (Al-Layl 92:5-6)
“he who withholds and considers himself free of need, and denies the best reward” (Al-Layl 92:9)
Those human regardless of their religion, race, ancestry, sex, tendencies, inclination, Allah has divided them into two categories
“he who gives and fears Allah, and believes in the best reward” (Al-Layl 92:5-6)
“he who withholds and considers himself free of need, and denies the best reward” (Al-Layl 92:9)
The Divine promise for the first party is: “We will ease him toward ease” (Al-Layl 92:7)
As for the second Allah promised: “We will ease him toward difficulty” (Al-Layl 92:10)
