The Hindu convert: Since 25 years.

The interviewer: Please, can you tell me about your feeling on Islam, what kind of religion Islam is?

The Hindu convert: Islam is a good religion. When I converted my family members brought my case to the police and court. The police inspector came to me and asked: who has motivated you to convert to Islam? I told him that it was a mere mercy of Allah the Almighty Who helped me and guided me to Islam. After that, the inspector asked me about my name. I told him: my name is `Abdullah Ansari. Then he asked about my father’s name. I told him: Shri Ranjan Kiran. The inspector wrote and registered the information and left. I thank Allah the Almighty the Lord of the universe. It is His mercy. Thanks to Allah.

The interviewer: Do you fast the thirty days?

The Hindu convert: Yes, yes.

The interviewer: Do you perform the daily five prayers too?

The Hindu convert: Yes, surely.

The interviewer: How do you feel after you have accepted Islam?

The Hindu convert: I feel blessed. It is a great religion.

The interviewer: Will you practice this religion till your last breath?

The Hindu convert: Yes, by the will of Allah Almighty. If I die when I am fasting, it will be great, by the grace of Allah.

The Hindu convert: Wa `alaykum As-salam (and peace be upon you).
