A Brahmin Brother Finds His Goal in Islam

By Editorial Staff

In this video, you are going to watch a Brahmin brother from Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, India, who shares his impressive interview after his conversion to Islam.

Through this video, he acknowledges that Allah the Almighty has guided him to the right path. His beginning was with a Telugu translation of the Glorious Qur’an.

Surat Al-Ikhlas: A Mirror of the Divine Perfection

The Brahmin brother studied the Qur’an until he came to Surat Al-Ikhlas, the Surah No. 112 in the Glorious Qur’an. Surat Al-Ikhlas is one of the great chapters of the Qur’an that talked about the attributes of Allah the Almighty and His perfection in a very short and plain manner. Reading the meanings of this Surah was a reason for the guidance of this brother to Islam.

Surat Al-Ikhlas says:

“Say (O Muhammad!): “He is Allah, the One, Allah is the Self-Sufficient, Master, Whom all creatures need, He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.” (Al-Ikhlas 112:1-4)

Great Divine Issues in Surat Al-Ikhlas

After the brother has studied the Surah, he understood many important realities about Allah the Almighty. He realized that Allah does not have wife, child, father or mother. Allah is One, none is similar nor equal to Him. He does not need anyone and entire creation needs Him every moment.

He was surprised to find those philosophical and complicated realities in few words. His heart became satisfied with the fact that this divine sublime description cannot spring from anyone except Allah the Almighty.

Lower and Higher Caste in Hinduism

The brother has acknowledged in this video that he belonged to a prestigious Hindu family. He regards the caste-system a man-made tradition, there is no lower or higher caste based on the family background or tribal affiliation; all human-being is from a single male and female. All mankind has to worship only One God and this is the core teaching of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). No one will enter the Paradise but the one who followed the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sincerely.
